The term Horse Sharing Experience (also referred to as Fractional Ownership) is not a new concept but the awareness of the concept and those who provide it has been growing of late as those in the Standardbred industry search for a framework to maintain and grow their operations and the future of the sport.
This website was developed to showcase a Horse Sharing Experience that is 'Just A Little Different Than All The Rest' - OAS2021 (Ownastandardbred - 2021) and OAS2022 (Ownastandardbred - 2022). The goal is to provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision as to whether the OAS program is the right ownership group for you.
Our program may be the right one for you if any one of the following aspects appeals to you (A) You are looking to participate in a group that finds value in the membership - all members of OAS2021 are members of OAS2022 (B) You are looking for a reasonable entry point without monthly bills for the first year (C) You are looking for frequent communication about your horses via email, social media and this website where pages are dedicated to each horse including photographs and videos (D) You are looking to participate in a group that will search for yearlings outside of those available in Ontario (most recently Harrisburg Black Book sale)
