For more than 25 years,  John Pentland has bought, trained and developed  some of Ontario’s top Pacing Standardbred horses for Pentland Racing.
 
Although John has a proven track record with horses of all ages (with average lifetime earnings of $3000+ per start), he has a particular talent working with yearlings, developing them so they reach their full potential racing in their two year old year. 
 
John's average UDRS rating for 2016 and 2017 equals that of the top trainer on the top Canadian circuit in Ontario.

LOCATION - DORCHESTER DOWNS

Pentland Racing Stable operates at Dorchester Downs which is located just off the 401 in Southwestern Ontario.  The facility features a 5/8th mile training track, covered walker, sand paddocks and is located within 10 minutes of a swimming facility.
