COMMENTARY

2017 - 2 yo summary
2018 March 15 - Well, Bosston final made it to the races.  It was nothing to write home about but he stayed flat and finished in 2:00 at Woodbine.  He got away 6 lengths off the lead and finished 9 lenghts off - the bettors had it right in that race.  He finished 7th.

2018 - January 19 - Bosston
has gone in the race bike a few days ago and will continue to look for mid Feb to qualify :)

2018 - January 3 -Bosston continues to put in the training miles. We aren't in a rush with him, but if everything goes as planned he should be ready to qualify mid February

2017 - December 4 - Trained Bosston
in 2:19 this week and thought he was very good. His feet are cold and knees seem good. No reoccurrence of any previous issues have flared up so it is all systems go from here.

2017 - November 12 -
Bosston is back at Tomiko and has put a lot of good jogging miles on while being back at the barn. We plan to train him Wednesday if the weather / track conditions cooperate!

2017 - May 12 - Bosston schooled in 2:05.3 - the next month he got cast in his stall and has been off with a suspensory injury since

2016 - Lexington Yearling Sale - Bosston was purchased for $25,000 USD
2018 - 3 yo summary
2018 - MARCH - We finally got to see Bosston start his racing career.   It did not start with any kind of pop.  He raced his first two starts at Woodbine  on fast tracks.  The first was a flat line.  His second start he got away 8th by 12 1/2 lengths and finished 8th by 12 3/4 lengths.  His third start Anthony took the reins and he got away mid pack (4th) off the pace by 7 lengths, came first up the last half of the mile and came on down the stretch to take the win.  I was on the back stretch and there was MUCH urging in that last 1/4 mile.  He reminds me of another laid back, tall, short backed all bay horse I had, State Of The Union, who raced for the exercise until you let him know it was work not play and he then was competitive.  We will see how much Bosston is like Sam.
